Cricket World Cup 2015
The Cricket World Cup kicks off in Christchurch, New Zealand on the 14th of February 2015 , followed by a range of matches throughout New Zealand and Australia.
This hotly contested battle will be exciting to host in New Zealand, with teams playing from around the World.
New Zealand hosts games in most centres, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Napier, Nelson, Dunedin and Hamilton.
Rotorua is perfectly situated as a central base between the North Island game locations, being part way between Auckland and Wellington, and close to Hamilton and Napier.
Rotorua also offers plenty of ways to be entertained between matches, including swinging through a native forest canopy with Rotorua Canopy Tours, soaking in world famous mineral water at the award winning Polynesian Spa, or jumping aboard a WWII Amphibious vehicle for a tour of Rotorua and the Lakes with Rotorua Duck Tours.
There is something for the adrenalin junkies too; Agroventures Adventure Park boasts a range of adrenalin boosters, such as a bungy, swoop, Agrojet, freefall extreme and the unique Shweeb. Just down the road you have the Zorb if you fancy rolling down a hill in a giant ball, and OffRoad NZ for taking your driving skills to the extreme through NZ bush.
